The question is why is such a tank needed?

Actually, China has deployed 500 light tanks in the Himalayas. To give them a befitting reply, the Zorawar tank has been built for the Indian Army. It can fly drones. It can fire anti-tank guided missiles. It can fire shells. It can operate machine guns. It can destroy China’s Type-15 tanks deployed in the Himalayas.

It is not as heavy as T-72 or T-90. Therefore, this tank can be easily lifted by helicopter and transported to the China border. Apart from this, it can climb mountains on its own. The Indian Army is preparing to deploy this tank near the China border in Ladakh. Zorawar is called Bahadur in Punjabi language.
