‘Your son is trapped in a rape case…’ Cyber thugs pretending to be police called, said – send money online

These days, cyber criminals are cheating people by adopting new methods of fraud. These thugs sometimes call people pretending to be police officers and sometimes CBI or Income Tax officers. A similar case has come to light from Dholpur in Rajasthan. Here the thugs, posing as police and CBI officers, called a man and a woman and demanded money.

Actually, two such incidents have happened in Dholpur. The first case is of Shivnagar Colony in Sampau of the district. Here a WhatsApp call came on the mobile of Rinku Parmar’s wife Seema. The caller told Seema that her son has been lodged in the police station in a molestation case. If you want to save your son, then put thirty thousand rupees on this number.

The thugs, posing as police officers, had called from a Pakistani number. Seema got scared after hearing the thug’s words on the call and immediately informed her husband Rinku. After this, Rinku immediately reached Saipau police station and when asked the reason for locking his son there, the police was surprised to hear his words. The police personnel told Rinku that no one was arrested in the case of molestation in the police station.

When SHO Gambhir Singh took information about the case from Rinku Parmar and checked the number of WhatsApp call received on his wife Seema’s mobile, it turned out to be Pakistan’s number. After this Rinku filed a case of fraud call and reached the school to trace her son. His son was in school.

The second case is from Dholpur city. Here a WhatsApp call came on the mobile of an accounts officer Uttam Chandra Goyal and said that your son is trapped in a rape case and four friends are also involved with him. If you send the child to jail, his life will be spoiled.

The thug says that he will get you talking to CBI Inspector Vikram Aditya. After this, the second thug pretends to be CBI Inspector Vikram Aditya and says that he has committed a big crime. Your son says that he is trapped because of his friends. If you send him to jail, his whole life will be ruined and you will also be insulted. During this time the sound of the child crying is heard.

The child’s father Uttam Chandra says don’t cry, I am coming. The swindler demands forty thousand rupees from Uttam Chandra, but Uttam Chandra asks to pay fifty thousand rupees more than the amount. After this the swindler asks to deposit money online. Uttam Chandra Goyal has given information about this entire matter to the police.

What did the police tell about the call of thugs?

SHO Gambhir Singh said that a case of cyber fraud has come up. A WhatsApp call was received and the child was kidnapped and money was demanded. The call had come from a Pakistani number. People should not pick up unknown calls and should not give OTP to anyone. Thugs are adopting new methods.

They pretend to be policemen and call that the child has been caught by the police in some case or has been kidnapped. After that a demand for money is made. If anyone receives such a call then inform the nearest police station. Cheating is also being done in the name of parcel. Blackmailing is done even on video calls.
