Congress secretary-general Priyanka Gandhi will contest elections for the first time. She will make her debut from the by-election from Wayanad seat in Kerala. He recently filed his nomination from the seat. Now she has reached Wayanad herself and addressed people there. Regarding Rahul Gandhi, he said a massive campaign was launched against his brother to tarnish his image.
Priyanka Gandhi further said that a lot of money and resources were invested in the campaign against my brother to tarnish his image. There was a time when everyone turned their backs on him and you were the only one who loved him. Vote for him and support him. No matter what everyone sees today, you saw it first. You recognized him and his fight even before anyone else. The people of Wayanad have created a bond and for that my family and I are very grateful to all of you.

Wayanad seat by-election
Wayanad seat has fallen vacant after Rahul Gandhi left. In the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, he contested against Ray Bareilly from Wayanad and Uttar Pradesh and won both seats, but he chose Rai Bareilly. Following this, the Wayanad seat fell vacant and a by-election will be held next month, with her sister Priyanka Gandhi now contesting in her stead.
Navya Haridas vs. BJP
While Priyanka Gandhi has been active in politics for many years, over the years she has sought public votes not for herself but only for members of her own party and has only campaigned for other leaders, but this time Priyanka Gandhi is campaigning for I am here to run for my own election.
