The Yogi government has taken big decisions for the Uttar Pradesh bureaucracy. Under this provision, all DMs and commissioners will now have to submit self-assessment reports on investments and job creation in their respective areas. This report of DM and Commissioner will be mentioned in their ACR (Performance Report). The system will be implemented within the next two to three weeks.
UP Chief Secretary Manoj Singh gave complete details on this. He said a report on investments in the field of commissioners and DM will also be prepared. The role of DM and Commissioner will be increased in investment.
According to the chief secretary, DMs and commissioners play an important role in investing in the state. In this case, the DM, Commissioner will have to write in the annual ACR the investment and loan related progress in his/her area. Rating will be based on DM’s ACR investments. We will also work to recognize better performance by DMs.
