Gwalior: A major incident took place in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh, on Friday night. The convoy of Uttar Pradesh government minister Manohar Lal Mannu Kori was attacked here. The minister was also injured in the attack, and his staff and public safety organizations were also beaten. The attackers also snatched the pistol of the minister’s PSO.

A dozen people attacked the convoy of Manohar Lal Mannu Kori, minister of state in the Yogi Adityanath government in Uttar Pradesh. During this period, the convoy vehicles were damaged and the staff were beaten. The minister was accompanied by Uttar Pradesh police personnel at the time of the attack.
Uttar Pradesh Minister of State for Labor and Employment Manohar Lal Mannu Kori is traveling to Lalitpur from Agra. Meanwhile, a truck met with an accident on the highway near Jalasi village under the jurisdiction of Bhilua police station in Gwalior city, leading to congestion on the highway. When the minister got into trouble, his convoy decided to start on the wrong side.
As soon as he walked forward from the other side, a cyclist blocked his car on the road. An argument broke out between the two when Minister of State PSO Sarvesh asked him to move aside and let him pass.
During this time, the accused youth misbehaved and raised his hands against the minister’s PSO, after which a big row broke out between the two parties. Thereafter, the accused Bunty Yadav snatched away the official pistol of the minister’s PSO and summoned two dozen people from his village.
More than a dozen people attacked
Thereafter, more than a dozen people not only attacked Minister Manu Kohli’s convoy but also threw stones at the vehicle. Minister Manu Kohli and security personnel in the convoy also suffered minor injuries in the attack. After the incident, the minister reached Bilua police station in Gwalior and his driver lodged an FIR against around 15 assailants.
