Xiaomi surpasses Apple to become the second best-selling brand in August

This happened due to the sluggish sales of Apple. According to a report by Counterpoint, Xiaomi has become the fastest growing smartphone brand in 2024. Xiaomi outperformed the market in August, which benefited the company.

Xiaomi returns to the market

Despite the decline in key markets, Xiaomi has performed well thanks to its strategy. The company’s growth declined in 2022 and the first half of 2023, but Xiaomi has since returned to the competition. The company now seems to be benefiting from changes in its product, sales and channel strategies.

Apple will return

Samsung continues to hold the first position. New iPhones have been available since September, and the holiday season is coming in the next few days. Under such circumstances, Apple’s sales of mobile phones are expected to increase. The company can reach the second place or even the first place again.
