Wooden boat placed on the track in Farrukhabad, conspiracy to derail Kasganj Farrukhabad Express train

A major railway accident was averted in Farrukhabad, Uttar Pradesh due to the alertness of the loco pilot. It is suspected that some unruly elements tried to derail the Kasganj-Farrukhabad Express train (number 05389). Actually, a heavy wooden plank was placed on the railway track. This plank got stuck in the engine due to which the train stood at the spot for about 25 minutes. As soon as the information of the incident was received, railway workers reached the spot and removed the plank.

After this, the train reached Shamshabad railway station at 12:05 am and after that the guard and driver of the train informed the railway station about the incident. It is being told that the miscreants also broke the cement slab of Bhatasa railway station. Fortunately, there was no loss of railway property or life or property in this accident. The length of the wooden boat is said to be about 137 cm, average diameter 20 cm and weight is about 30 kg.

Attempt to derail Kasganj-Farrukhabad Express train

GRP, RPF and Railway teams along with dog squad reached the spot and investigated. Railway police said that the matter is being investigated seriously. The train left for Farrukhabad from Kasganj railway station at 11:18 pm on the night of 23 August. Railway Protection Force has registered a case in this matter.

The miscreants had placed a heavy wooden boat on the railway track

Let us tell you, a railway accident took place in Kanpur on 17th August. In this incident, 22 coaches of the train derailed. Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav had said that the engine of Sabarmati Express (Varanasi to Ahmedabad) collided with something placed on the track near Kanpur, due to which this accident happened. Police had registered an FIR in this case.
