A case of kidnapping of a 6 year old girl in broad daylight has come to light in Jaipur, Rajasthan. A woman along with her two companions has been captured in CCTV luring a girl away. At the time of the incident, the girl was sleeping on the footpath with her drunk father. Taking advantage of this, the woman took the girl with herself. After regaining consciousness, the father reported the matter to Sanjay Circle police station a day later.
Sanjay Circle Police Station Officer Anil Kumar Yadav said that on August 16, a person named Puran Singh had registered a case of kidnapping of his 6-year-old daughter Lakshmi. After investigation, it was seen in the CCTV that a woman and her two companions were seen carrying the girl comfortably. When the father was interrogated, he told that he had reached Amber Tower with the girl at around 4 pm on August 14. After this he drank alcohol at night and slept with the girl at the Sindhi Camp bus stand.

Then the next day on August 15, at around 8 am, he took the girl to Chandpol Gate. There he met a woman, to whom he asked to give the girl to an orphanage. On this the woman said that she would adopt the girl. The woman also said that she has two sons and if she does not have a child, she will raise the child. After this, the drunken father asked the woman to go to the police station and complete the paperwork and take the girl. But later he got greedy. After this, the woman and her two companions misled him and took the girl with them.
After this, on August 16, the father reported to the police station. After this the police immediately came into action. CCTV footage of the surrounding area was scanned, in which the woman and two persons were seen taking the girl with them. They went from Chandpol Gate towards Chhoti Chowpar, but later disappeared. When the police interrogated the girl’s father, they found out that the girl was not his, but he had picked her up from the garbage heap near Hathoj.

After this he nurtured him. But according to the neighbours, the father is a drug addict and has already talked about selling the girl for Rs 2 lakh. Now for the last three days, he was roaming away from home with the girl and was also talking about giving her to an orphanage. At present, further action is being taken in the matter.
