With a law degree, 3 cars and two acres of land, Nayab Singh Saini is richer than former CM ML Khattar

Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini filed his nomination from Ladwa assembly constituency on Tuesday. According to Saini’s election affidavit, he has a graduation degree in law from Chaudhary Charan Singh University, Meerut, UP. He has movable assets worth Rs 63,83136.95 and immovable assets worth Rs 4.15 crore. He has made his wife Suman Saini his cover candidate.

According to Nayab Singh Saini’s affidavit, his wife owns immovable assets worth Rs 8,85,214 lakh. She has Rs 1.7 lakh in cash and Rs 28,40,567.95 in deposits in six different banks. Nayab Singh Saini owns three seven-seater vehicles, including a 2004-model Toyota Innova, Toyota Qualis and a 2020-model Innova Crysta. He also owns two houses in Mirzapur Majra village in Yamunanagar and Sector 4 Panchkula and two acres of agricultural land.

His wife Suman Saini owns two plots of 16 marlas. Nayab Singh Saini’s declared movable assets increased from Rs 43.57 lakh in May this year to Rs 63,83136 in September 2024. He is richer than his predecessor Manohar Lal Khattar. In the Lok Sabha elections held this year, ML Khattar was the BJP candidate from Karnal and won. According to the affidavit he gave at that time, he has assets worth Rs 2.54 crore, no vehicle, and land and house worth Rs 40 lakh.

Manohar Lal Khattar had declared cash deposits of Rs 50,000 and bank deposits of Rs 2.13 lakh in his election affidavit filed in May this year. Let us tell you that Manohar Lal Khattar was sworn in as the 10th Chief Minister of Haryana on 26 October 2014 and became the Chief Minister twice in a row before resigning on 12 March 2024. After his resignation, BJP made Nayab Singh Saini the new Chief Minister of Haryana. He is contesting the assembly elections from Ladwa seat this time.
