Women’s monthly income will increase by Rs 1,500 to Rs 2,100. This was accompanied by a commitment to provide training to improve women’s financial literacy. Also, for the safety of women, 25,000 women will be added to the police force. Under the Mukhyamantri Annapurna Yojana, three gas cylinders are provided free of charge to every family every year. This program will continue.

A monthly salary of Rs 15,000 and insurance were promised to ensure financial security and welfare of Anganwadi and ASHA workers.

By 2027, the number of Didi Chuxing users will reach 5 million

The manifesto promises that Maharashtra will have 5 million Didi users by 2027. For this purpose, an industrial cluster of 500 SHGs will be formed and an initial circulating fund of Rs 1,000 crore will be provided to all such clusters.

UMED (Maharashtra Rural Livelihoods Mission) will be strengthened considering the importance of UMED (Maharashtra Rural Livelihood Mission) in making women economically independent. A permanent market will be established for women entrepreneurs and women self-help groups. In addition, an annual “Karmayogin Fair” will be held in each region.

Commitment to women’s dignity, safety and comfort

The following measures will be taken to strengthen women self-help groups in Maharashtra:-

  1. Financial assistance of Rs 10 lakh in the form of loan to promote women self-help groups into MSMEs.
  2. Interest-free loan facility is provided under the Mudra scheme, with special encouragement to women entrepreneurs.
  3. Women’s self-help groups will be digitized to facilitate access to loans by building strong relationships between women’s self-help groups and banks.
  4. Cooperative banks in various districts and cities have set up special groups for women’s self-help groups.
  5. The ‘Rajmata Jijau Matri Vandana Award’ will be established to recognize women who have excelled in social and political spheres.
  6. Ahilyabai Holkar Girls Hostel equipped with state-of-the-art security system will be set up in each district headquarters for the use of girl students and businesswomen from rural areas who come to the district headquarters for education and vocational training.
  7. On the Tejaswini bus lines opened in Mumbai, women-only bus services will also be launched during peak hours in major cities to ensure safe and comfortable travel for female passengers.
  8. Vishakha committees will be formed in all educational institutions to prevent any form of harassment and discrimination against girls and women.
