Will Shinde choose Sharad Pawar after the results are out? Shiv Sena MLA gave this answer

Maharashtra CM Eknath Shinde

Voting for the Maharashtra assembly elections has been completed. After that, all parties started brainstorming about CM’s face. Meanwhile, Shiv Sena MLA Sanjay Shirsat of Eknath Shinde was asked if Eknath Shinde will be the chief minister for a second time with opposition Sharad Pawar? In this regard, he said that whatever decision Sindh makes, we will accept it. We will stand firmly with them. We have faith in Him and always will.

The MLA also said that after the Maharashtra election results, the party will accept who Eknath Shinde goes with and only him. Shirsat supported Eknath Shinde, saying that Eknath Shinde always goes in the right direction and this is the experience of the party. Eknath Shinde separated from Uddhav Thackeray’s Shiv Sena in 2022 and later formed the government with the BJP and became the state CM . Hirsat was one of the Shiv Sena councilors who was with Shinde during the rebellion.

What was said about the CM position?

When Sanjay Shirsat was asked, what would be the attitude of people if Eknath Shinde was not appointed as chief minister after Mahayuti’s victory. Shirsat said that only Eknath Shinde will take a decision on this. This is their right and we cannot comment on this. Whatever Eknath Shinde decides, we will accept it.

What is the BJP’s comment on Shirsat’s statement?

When BJP leader Praveen Dharekhar was asked about Shirsat’s statement, he said that Shirsat’s statement did not represent the official position of the party. Eknath Shinde’s party faces off against Uddhav Thackeray-led Shiv Sena (UBT) and Sharad Pawar-led National Congress in the election Communist Party (SP) competition. Such an alliance between Eknath Shinde and MVA is unimaginable. He further said that the BJP, Shinde-led Shiv Sena and Deputy Prime Minister Ajit Pawar-led NCP are all members of the ruling grand alliance. On the other hand, the opposition Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) includes the Congress, Shiv Sena (UBT) and NCP (Sharadchandra Pawar).

Voting for 288 seats in Maharashtra has been completed on November 20, and the election results will be announced on November 23.
