He has also warned that doctors participating in the ongoing protests may have to face public anger. If instead of doing their medical work, doctors go home in the name of movement and if doctors go out with their boyfriends in the name of movement, then there will definitely be public anger.

Anger may spread if hospital services remain disrupted

At a rally in Machantla, Chakraborty criticized the opposition’s efforts and warned the protesting junior doctors to return to work. He also warned that if hospital services continue to be disrupted, anger may spread among the people. He slammed a section of the police for allegedly supporting opposition activities and urged them to follow the instructions of the state government. Also said, public anger can flare up, if people’s patients are killed then there will be anger among the public. If the patient dies without treatment, will the patient’s family leave him?

CPM strongly condemned Chakraborty’s statements

He also took the police to task and said that there are some policemen who are not working impartially. He also reminded that they work under the government. They should keep this in mind. CBI has got permission to conduct polygraphy test of Kolkata rape-murder case accused Sanjay Roy. The investigating agency had filed an application in the court. Before this, the agency had conducted psychological test of the accused. Now through polygraphy test it will be possible to know how much lie and how much truth the last accused is telling. CBI also wants to conduct polygraphy test on former hospital principal Sandeep Ghosh.
