In Mumbai, Maharashtra, senior NCP leader Baba Siddiqui was shot dead while coming out of his son Zeeshan’s office. The incident happened on Saturday night. Two gunmen involved in the incident have been arrested. He claimed to be associated with the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. Lawrence Bishnoi is lodged in Sabarmati Jail in Gujarat.
In order to verify the identity of Baba Siddiqui’s gunman, the investigative agencies will soon interrogate the jailed Lawrence Bishnoi. A legal advisory is being issued for this as the inquiry requires permission from the court. The gunman claimed Lawrence had links to Bishnoi. The investigating agency will try to find out during the interrogation whether the close relationship with Salman Khan was the reason for Baba Siddiqui’s death or if there were other reasons.
