Will a bulldozer crush someone who died in custody? Akhilesh Yadav’s question on Chinhat case

Akhilesh Yadav

Khaki was before the court in connection with the death of businessman Mohit Pandey in police custody at Chinhat police station in Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh. Questions have been raised about the working style of the police. The opposition is attacking the police and the government. Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav on Monday raised a big question. Will bulldozers run over people who die in (police) custody, he asked?

Akhilesh Yadav posted on the social media platform that those who extinguish the lights of someone’s house on Diwali hope they don’t light the lamp of lies. No attempt will be made to erase the inky darkness of his reign with false light. The public is asking, will bulldozers be used on people who die in custody? Reprehensible!

what happened

Mohit Pandey was arrested and taken to the police station after a minor dispute with his neighbor Adesh Kumar in Lucknow. He died here. Afterwards, people protested against the police. The victim’s family alleged that the police beat Mohit at the behest of Adesh’s uncle and a leader he knew. In this case, an FIR was registered against Mohit’s uncle SHO Ashwini Kumar and others based on a complaint from Mohit’s mother.

Criminals go free

In another post on the social media platform, Akhilesh Yadav wrote that under the BJP rule, criminals commit crimes without fear. He wrote that the audacity to commit murder and then bury the body near the district magistrate’s residence shows how criminals are able to commit crimes with impunity under the BJP rule.

Change police custody name

A day earlier, Akhilesh Yadav had written on the social media platform that the government, which is good at changing names, should now rename it a “torture house”.
