According to locals, wild boars (Varaha) caused terror attacks in Talcher, Angul district. A pig entered a house and attacked two people. Both men were seriously injured in the attack. Fortunately, other people in the house chased it with sticks and the wild boar escaped from the house. On the other hand, three people were seriously injured in a wild boar attack in Brahmagiri in Puri district. All these injured have been taken to hospital. Although doctors have declared him out of danger after treatment, he is still under close observation.

Elderly women and children attacked

According to sources, a wild boar attacked an old woman and a child in Mandalpada area of ​​Talcher city on Thursday morning. The wild boar suddenly broke into the house and attacked, causing serious injuries to 60-year-old woman Chaturi Nayak and 10-year-old child Raja Nayak. Hearing Chaturi’s screams, family members rushed to seek help. Afterwards, the pig entered another room. The pigs were locked in a room and the injured two were taken to the hospital.

Team actively looking for pigs

After receiving the information, the forest department rushed to the spot and brought the pig under control. On the other hand, in Brahmagiri, a wild boar also attacked four people in Dahanigadia village. One person was seriously injured in the attack. He has been admitted to Puri District General Hospital. People nearby heard his screams and ran to save him, but the pig saw them and ran off into the forest. After receiving the information, the forest department immediately started searching for the pig.
