The CBI is investigating the lady doctor rape-murder case of Kolkata’s RG Kar Medical College and Hospital from several angles. According to sources, the investigating agency is trying to find out why the police was informed 40 minutes late after the doctor’s body was found. It is also being investigated whether there was an attempt by the hospital authorities to hide the crime between the discovery of the doctor’s body and the arrival of the police at the crime scene.

According to the Kolkata Police investigation, the body of the lady doctor was recovered at 9:30 am on August 9. But the first call to the police station was received 40 minutes later at 10:10 am. The distance between RG Kar Medical College and Tala Police Station is one km, which can be covered in just four minutes. Despite this, it took more than an hour for the police to reach the spot, which is being seen as a big lapse.

In this way, there was a delay of one hour between the discovery of the body and sealing the crime scene. This is the reason why a crowd gathered there, due to which the crime scene was tampered with. The CBI is investigating the CDR of former principal Sandeep Ghosh to find out if there was any interference from his side or not. He was called for questioning for a record 14th time on Friday. Along with this, the CBI has also questioned the Tala police station in-charge about this.

Aaj Tak has got an exclusive picture in the lady doctor rape-murder case. In this, a crowd can be seen at the crime scene in the seminar hall of the hospital. The CBI, which is investigating this case, had claimed in the Supreme Court that the crime scene has been tampered with, which can be confirmed by this picture. But Kolkata Police says that the people seen in the picture are the ones who were allowed to be there.

Kolkata Police sources claim that this picture is of 9th August. Earlier, a video had also surfaced, which raised a big question on the working style of the West Bengal government and Kolkata Police. This 43-second video is said to be of the same scene of crime on the morning of 9th August, where a horrific incident like rape and murder of a trainee doctor took place inside the hospital. In this video, a crowd of people was seen at the scene of crime.

In this, people were seen talking to each other, peeping and using mobile phones. What is even more surprising is that policemen were also present in this crowd of people. Kolkata Police has accepted the video to be of the seminar room of the hospital on the morning of 9 August, but it says that by then it had quarantined the area around the dead body and these people are standing outside that cordoned off area.

From this clarification of Kolkata Police, it is clear that so many people entered the same seminar hall when there was a dead body in the hall and securing the scene of crime was the first and foremost need. In this video, the identity of some people has also been claimed. In this video, it has been claimed that police chowki in-charge Sanjeev Chattopadhyay, lawyer Shantanu De, PA of former principal Sandeep Ghosh and forensic demonstrator Devashish Som have been seen.

In such a situation, the question arises that what are so many people doing at the scene of crime. The strange thing is that in this crowd, along with the doctors and staff of the hospital, there are many outsiders as well, whose presence here does not make sense. Now the police is unable to answer on this situation. Kolkata Police DCP Central Indira Mukherjee has justified this video. She admitted that this video is from inside the seminar room.
