There are many difficulties for the Bharatiya Janata Party in the Haryana assembly elections. But the relief for it is that the opposition also does not seem to be united. Despite not performing very well in the Lok Sabha election results, the Congress and the Aam Aadmi Party feel that they are capable of defeating the BJP alone. So this is nothing but an illusion. At present, the talks of alliance between the Congress and the Aam Aadmi Party in Haryana have broken down. The Aam Aadmi Party has announced its candidates for 29 seats in the state. It will be interesting to see who is becoming the villain among the two parties behind the alliance not being formed? If this is understood, then the alliance can still be formed. At present, if the Congress spokesperson is to be believed, there is still hope. It is clear that the alliance is in the interest of both the parties. Therefore, both the parties would like to reach some result in the next 2 days.

1-Why Bhupendra Singh Hooda is not a villain

Meanwhile, reports came that former Chief Minister of the state Bhupendra Singh Hooda is not in favour of alliance at all. There is no doubt that Hooda was adamant that it is better if Congress contests elections alone in the state. He said that even if AAP contests elections alone, it will not be able to cause any harm to Congress. Hooda is also right in saying that Aam Aadmi Party is demanding the same seats from where the chances of Congress candidates winning are high. Therefore, there is no point in alliance. But Hooda cannot be blamed for the non-happening of this alliance because Randeep Surjewala and other leaders, who are considered his staunch opponents within the party, also have the same opinion on the issue of alliance. Not only this, Ajay Maken, a member of the committee formed for talks with AAP and former minister of Delhi government, also supported Hooda. In this way, Hooda has also taken his rivals within the party in the state with him on this issue.

2-Excessive ambition of Aam Aadmi Party

There can be no doubt that the position of Aam Aadmi Party is very weak in Haryana right now. But the party’s ambitions are so high that it is talking about contesting on 90 seats i.e. 90 seats in total. The figures of the Lok Sabha elections show that there were only 4 assembly seats where Aam Aadmi Party seemed to be gaining an edge. According to this, if Congress is ready to give only 5 seats to Aam Aadmi Party, then it can be said to be correct. But Congress should also think about itself that on what basis it was demanding 21 seats from Samajwadi Party in UP in the Lok Sabha elections and finally got 17 seats. Just as Akhilesh showed generosity towards Congress to fulfill the alliance dharma, Congress should also show the same generosity towards Aam Aadmi Party. The way Aam Aadmi Party is talking about declaring candidates on 90 seats, the way AAP declared 15 candidates on Monday, it seems that AAP leaders are working on a strategy to put pressure on Congress.

3-The real fear of local Congress leaders

The thinking of the local Congress leaders is also correct that if Aam Aadmi Party wins some seats in the name of alliance in the Haryana assembly elections, then it will create problems for the Congress party. Because the supporters of Aam Aadmi Party and Congress belong to the same category. Till now the record has been that wherever Aam Aadmi Party has become active, Congress has been ousted from there. In Delhi and Punjab, all the votes of Congress have been transferred to Aam Aadmi Party. The thinking of Haryana Congress leaders is not wrong.
