Apart from this, he also handed over two acres of land in the name of his daughter-in-law Harpreet Kaur. He has given the remaining 10.5 acres of cultivable land to his grandson Jigarjot Singh.

Jagjit Singh Dallewal leads Bharti Kisan Union (Ekta Sidhupur). He has joined hands with the SKM faction and many agricultural groups in Haryana, Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh. SKM (non-political) was also formed. Dhalewal is also the president of the Sidhupur-based Indian Kisan League (Sidhupur) in Faridkot, Punjab. It works in 19 districts of the state.
