Shah was addressing a public rally in support of the party’s candidate, J&K Bharatiya Janata Party chief Ravinder Raina, at the Nowshera Assembly segment while concluding his three-day election campaign in Jammu region. trip.

He criticized the anti-development and pro-terrorist stance of the Congress and the National Conference, highlighting the damage caused by their politics. He contrasted this by highlighting the significant achievements of the Modi government in transforming Jammu and Kashmir. Shah assured that the BJP will uphold the reservations and rights given to the people.
The Union Home Minister first paid tribute to Mangla Matta and Guru Nanak Devji. He praised Ravinder Raina for his significant contributions and said that under his leadership, the BJP has made tremendous progress in Jammu and Kashmir.
“Due to Raina’s crucial role, both Hindu and Muslim Paharis were given reservation. Congress, NCP and People’s Democratic Party have been depriving Paharis of their right to reservation for 70 years. He said that when the Paharis were granted the right, Farooq Abdullah tried to incite the Gujjars by falsely claiming that their reservation rights would be revoked. Shah recalled that he had assured at a rally in Rajouri that not even 1% of Gujjar and Bhakarwal reservations would be touched and Pahari would get their share of reservations, and the BJP kept its promise.
