Online gaming is increasing across the country. Can someone become a thief because of online gaming? Actually, a similar case has come from Ballia, UP. Here a young man got so addicted to online gaming that he started stealing. When this matter came to light, the police arrested him.

According to the information, this entire matter is from Ballia, UP. Here two youths of Sukhpura village used to play games on mobile. The name of one accused in this is Dilip Yadav. While playing the game, both the youth got addicted to it. If you start losing money in this, you start following the wrong path to earn more money. Both of them came to the city from their village and started stealing.

According to the police, both of them used to steal gold and silver jewelery in the city, after which they used to go to the goldsmith to sell them. The police came to know about the theft while selling the jewellery. After this the police took action and arrested both of them. On his information, the police have recovered jewelery worth lakhs from the goldsmith. Along with this, cash was also found.

What did the police say in the whole matter?

Accused Dilip Yadav is a resident of Sukhpura. According to the police, he was addicted to online gaming. He also used to gamble online. In need of money for gaming, he came from the village to the city and became a thief and he used to steal gold jewelery and sell it to a goldsmith, who has been arrested by the police from the city police station area. On his information, a huge amount of jewelery and cash was recovered from the goldsmith. ASP has appealed to children and their families to avoid addiction of online gaming.
