Although Bollywood actor Salman Khan was honorably acquitted by the court in the black hunting case. But the Bishnoi community still expects his forgiveness. For this reason, he continued to receive death threats from gang boss Lawrence Bishnoi.
This case occurred in 1998 when Salman went hunting with his co-stars from the film Hum Saath Saath Hain. In an old interview, Salman narrated how he decided to go hunting and how the whole incident started. Even today, he has to pay a heavy price for a story that began as a hobby.
Black deer found scared
In a 2009 interview with New Delhi Television, Salman himself recounted when, where and how he went hunting. How they found a frightened deer and fed it cookies. Salman said – I think it comes from here. One day after packing we were all driving, all of us… Saif, Tabu, Neelam, Amrita, Sonali, we saw a young deer trapped in the bushes.
The whole herd was there so I stopped the car and he was scared. We took him out of there and gave him some water to drink. He was scared. After a while, he finished eating the delicious cookies and ran away. We packed our things early that day. We all go together. I think that’s where it all started.
It’s not Salman’s fault
In another viral interview, Salman said that he did not kill Black Buck and the mistake was made by others. Salman has said that it is a long story. Actually it was not me who killed the black deer. It makes no sense. He stalked, he misbehaved…that’s what killed him. Hey, you don’t even know one percent of the truth. Just because I can’t tell the world something doesn’t mean I’m wrong. I think it is right to remain silent.
Sometimes you find you have nothing to say. Everyone has their own respect, their own dignity, their own priorities. This is an industry where you have no right to say anything, you might as well not say anything. I can say how I feel. But I can’t talk about it if someone else’s name is in it. I believe in karma. If something went wrong, I would have to deal with the consequences the next day.
