Now famous actor Manoj Pahwa has told a story of Akshay’s prank. Manoj had worked with Akshay in the film ‘Singh is King’ and on the set of this film, Akshay played such a big prank that Manoj’s marriage almost broke.
Akshay did a prank on Manoj in Australia
According to a report by News 18, Manoj in a recent interview has told the story of a prank done by Akshay on the sets of ‘Singh is King’ (2008). He told that during a shoot in Australia, Akshay’s mischief almost led to a misunderstanding in their marriage.
One day after the shoot, when Manoj’s wife, actress Seema Pahwa called, Akshay grabbed the phone. Like a true prankster, Akshay started talking like Manoj and tried to convince Seema.
However, Seema soon realized that the voice on the other end was not her husband’s. But Akshay’s prank did not stop there, rather he did another big mischief. To take his joke further, he also included Neha Dhupia, who was working with him in the film. Pretending to be an unknown woman, Neha casually said that ‘Manoj is in the bathroom.’ However, despite the whole setup, Seema did not fall for the prank.
Manoj recalled this prank and said, ‘Akshay tried his best to do this big prank but Seema and I have been married for so many years that something like this will not work. We know each other a little too well.’ Akshay’s prank may not have been successful, but it shows how much fun Akshay has with his co-stars and how good his bonding is with them.
