According to Article 124(7) of the Constitution, DY Chandrachud cannot practice law anywhere in the country. That is, after retiring from the Supreme Court, the profession of an advocate cannot be adopted by the Supreme Court or judges. Although he can play other roles.
Legal experts said such regulations were enacted to maintain the dignity and impartiality of the judiciary. There is no possibility of bias arising from this.
