The Supreme Court has put a stay on the decision to install name plates on the Kanwar route in Uttar Pradesh. The Supreme Court has issued a notice to the governments of Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Delhi and Madhya Pradesh on the name plate dispute and has asked them to respond by Friday. The order will remain on hold until the states respond.
