“We like it” White House advisor Musk, Trump Business Advisor as Spar: Report

A hot dispute has erupted between President Donald Trump’s business advisor, Tesla’s CEO, and Peter Navarro. The quarrel center around Trump’s comprehensive tariff policy, Navaro defended the policy and Kasturi expressed his opposition.

The debate began when Navaro criticized Musk’s electric vehicle company, Tesla during a television appearance, stating that Musk exceeds the “car assembler” compared to a manufacturer, rely much more on imported parts.

“The difference is that, our thinking and alone …, that we want tires made in Akron. We want broadcasting in Indianapolis. We want engine to be engaged in flints and saginaws. And we want cars to be manufactured here.”

Musk quickly responded, called Navaro a “Moran” on his social media platform and “dumber compared to a sack of bricks”.

Disagreement exposes different views on trade and tariffs within the Trump administration. Navarro is a strong supporter of policy, while Musk expressed concern about its impact.

The Washington Post reported that Musk had appealed to Trump to reverse the tariff. Musk was calling for zero tariffs between the US and the European Union at an online writing conference in Italy. Musk told the people present there, “This is definitely my advice to the President”.

The White House has reduced the quarrel, spokesperson Karolin Lewitt said, “Boys will be boys, and we will let their public rare continuing.”

The tariff policy has created significant market instability with the possibility of recession. Analysts have warned that increase in trade stress may increase consumer cost and market volatility.

The quarrel began when Musk started Harvard University Ph.D. On social media, it’s “bad thing, not a good thing.” Navaro responded by accusing the national policy of giving priority to Tesla’s profits.
