In the case of 69 thousand teacher recruitment in Uttar Pradesh, Allahabad High Court has directed to prepare a new list. After this decision of the court, teachers are worried about their jobs. They do not know whether their job will be saved or lost. On the other hand, teacher candidates demonstrated by lighting torches outside the Directorate of Basic Education in Lucknow late at night. They are demanding from the government that they should get justice now because there is a fear that this recruitment process may get stuck again.

Candidates from different districts of the state have reached outside the Directorate of Basic Education in Lucknow. They are demanding appointment letters from the government. They are shouting slogans against the government late at night by lighting mobile lights and holding banners and posters in their hands. They say that they will not leave from there without the appointment letter. The government should issue them a schedule in writing and tell them on which date their counseling will be held and on which date they will be given appointment.

Akhilesh surrounded the government

By sharing the video of the sit-in demonstration of these protesters, former Chief Minister and SP chief Akhilesh Yadav has surrounded the Yogi government. He said that the computer can prepare the complete list in three hours for honest appointment in 69 thousand teacher recruitment. The 3-month time that the BJP government of UP is asking for this is doubtful. This is creating doubts among the candidates against the scam-ridden BJP government that by taking this matter to the Supreme Court, the anti-reservation BJP government might want to postpone it for the rest of its tenure. The biggest crisis of the BJP is that the public has seen its real face and now the public has recognized the face and character of the BJP.

What did the Education Minister of UP say?

In this case, the Education Minister of UP has said that Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has been informed about the decision of the High Court in the 69 thousand teacher recruitment case. The government will not let anything wrong happen to the future of any class of people. The government will work to ensure and secure their future.

There should be no injustice to anyone: CM Yogi

CM Yogi tweeted in this matter and said that the Uttar Pradesh government is of the clear opinion that the reserved category candidates should get the benefit of the reservation facility given by the Constitution and no injustice should be done to any candidate. Instructions have been given to the department regarding this.

What is the whole controversy, know

The exam for this recruitment for 69 thousand assistant teacher posts was held on 6 January 2019. The cutoff for unreserved category was 67.11 percent and the cutoff for OBC was 66.73 percent. Under this recruitment, about 68 thousand people got jobs, but from here the question arose that reservation rules were ignored in the 69 thousand recruitments. Basic Education Rules 1981 were not followed properly.

The candidates of 69 thousand recruitments who came out on the streets to protest against this said that it is clear in this rule that if any OBC candidate scores more marks than the cutoff of unreserved category, then he will not get a job from OBC quota but in unreserved category, that is, he will not be counted in the scope of reservation. After this, the matter of 69 thousand teacher recruitment got complicated.

Candidates claimed that in the recruitment of 69 thousand teachers, OBC category got only 3.86 percent reservation instead of 27 percent, that is, OBC category got only 2,637 seats out of 18,598 seats, while at that time the government said that about 31 thousand people of OBC category were appointed.

On this statement of the government, the candidates, citing Basic Education Rules-1981 and Reservation Rules 1994, said that out of the 31 thousand people of OBC category who have been appointed, about 29 thousand were entitled to get seats from the unreserved category. The protesting candidates said that we should not include 29 thousand OBC category people in the ambit of reservation. They allege that out of 69 thousand teacher recruitment, SC category also got only 16.6 percent reservation instead of 21 percent. They claimed that there was a scam of about 19 thousand seats in the recruitment of 69 thousand teachers. Regarding this, he also went to the High Court and also complained to the National Backward Commission.
