Opposition tries to contain Modi government
On the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the promulgation of the Constitution, Union Home Minister Amit Shah delivered a long speech during the discussion of the Constitution in the Upper House of Parliament and launched a fierce attack on the Congress. The 12-second excerpt from Shah’s speech sparked a political battle from parliament to the streets and social media. Politics also intensified in Ambedkar’s name. Not only putting the BJP and the Modi government in the anti-Dalit dock, the opposition is also busy creating a political maze through allied leaders like Chandrababu Naidu and Nitish Kumar.
Union Home Minister Amit Shah shared a 12-second video of his speech in which he said that naming after Ambedkar has become a fashion nowadays. If Ambedkar, Ambedkar, Ambedkar had used the name of God so often, he would have gone to heaven for seven lifetimes. Amit Shah further expressed his views but Congress opened its front only in this regard while Aam Aadmi Party convener Arvind Kejriwal gave Chandrababu Naidu and Nitish Kumar wrote a letter. Earlier, Shiv Sena (UBT) chief Uddhav Thackeray also targeted Nitish, Naidu and Ajit Pawar.
Kejriwal writes a letter to Naidu and Nitish
Arvind Kejriwal wrote to Nitish Kumar and Chandrababu Naidu on Thursday and said: “I am writing this letter to you on a very important subject which not only concerns It is about our constitution and also about the reputation of Baba Saheb Ambedkar.” Home Minister Amit Shah’s remarks in the name of Baba Saheb in Parliament shocked the nation. He (Shah) said that now it has become a fashion to say “Ambedkar-Ambedkar”. This is not only an insult but also exposes the BJP’s views on Babasaheb and our Constitution.

Kejriwal said Amit Shah’s remarks had hurt the sentiments of tens of millions of people across the country. After making this statement, Amit Shah did not apologize but defended his statement. Prime Minister Narendra Modi publicly supported Amit Shah’s statement. It’s like rubbing salt into the wound. People began to feel that those who loved Baba Saheb could no longer support the BJP. Babasaheb was not just a leader but the soul of our country. After the BJP made this statement, one wants you to think deeply about this issue.
Uddhav raises questions about Naidu Nitish Pawar
Shiv Sena (UBT) chief Thackeray also took a tough stand against Amit Shah’s remarks against Ambedkar. In this regard, he held a press conference on Wednesday and stated the manner in which Amit Shah made a statement on Ambedkar in Parliament. Not acceptable in any form.
Uddhav said Ambedkar was one such person who was not associated with any political party. Will the RSS and the BJP take action against Amit Shah or have they been given permission to say so? Is this acceptable to other parties supporting Amit Shah? Is it Chandrababu Naidu, Nitish Kumar or Ajit Pawar? Will Ramdas Atharwal remain in the cabinet even after this?
Strategy of Kejriwal and Uddhav Thackeray
Arvind Kejriwal and Uddhav Thackeray are questioning Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu and Bihar CM Nitish Kumar over Amit Shah’s statements as part of a well-thought-out strategy. While the eyes are on Naidu and Nitish, their target is the Modi government. Kejriwal and Uddhav knew that if they succeeded in building a politics of pressure on Nitish-Naidu on the pretext of insulting Ambedkar, the strategy of creating a political labyrinth against the Modi government would also be successful.
Modi govt set to be shaken by Nitish-Naidu split
The current Modi central government does not rely solely on the strength of BJP MPs to govern as it did in 2014 and 2019. The BJP won 240 seats in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, which was less than a majority. With the support of the TDP led by Chandrababu Naidu and the JDU led by Nitish Kumar, the BJP can form the government in 2024.
The TDP has 17 Lok Sabha members and the JDU has 12 Lok Sabha members. In this case, if the political positions of the two parties change, the Modi government will be shaken. Therefore, both Kejriwal and Uddhav Thackeray questioned Nitish and Naidu regarding Amit Shah’s statement.
This is why Nitish is under pressure
Both Bihar and Andhra Pradesh have large Dalit voters. In Bihar, the Dalit community constitutes about 18%, while in Andhra Pradesh, the Dalit population constitutes 17%. Efforts are being made to put political pressure on Nitish Kumar as Bihar is due to hold assembly elections next year. In the 2024 Lok Sabha and Assembly elections held in Andhra Pradesh, the Dalit community voted directly in favor of the TDP.
Maulana Madani also used Nitish-Naidu as an excuse to do mischief
The Modi government has proposed the Waqf Amendment Bill to make major changes to the Waqf Board Act. Sent to JPC. However, a conspiracy is brewing to prevent the bill from passing parliament. To this end, Maulana Arshad Madani of Jamaat-e-Islami has taken the Bihar and Andhra Pradesh route, with the Modi government at the centre. In this way, he heightened the tension between Prime Minister Modi’s two crutches of power by holding constitutional protection meetings in Patna, Bihar, and Maulana Arshad Madani, Andhra Pradesh.
The first program led by Jamiat Ulema-e-Hind was organized at the Indira Gandhi Stadium. Thereafter, after organizing events in Bihar and Andhra Pradesh, Maulana Madani warned JDU founder Nitish Kumar and TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu if the amendments related to the Religious Endowments Commission were If it is passed in Parliament, then Nitish and Naidu will also be responsible for it.
Arshad Madani made it clear that he understands the nuances of the alliance and knows that the power of the Center depends on the support of Nitish and Naidu. Madani gathered hundreds of thousands of Muslims in Bihar and Andhra Pradesh to convey his message to Nitish and Naidu. Not only that, he made them aware of the political power of Muslim votes and that if they allowed the waqf bill to be passed, then they should give up hope of Muslim votes.
