In the past 24 hours, the minimum temperature in Delhi increased slightly and the maximum temperature dropped by 0.2 degrees Celsius. Cold snap warnings for these states

According to the Meteorological Department, a persistent cold wave is likely to occur in Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh and western Uttar Pradesh from December 11, and the cold is already being felt in western Rajasthan. Cold wave is expected to occur in Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Gilgit, Baltistan, Muzaffarabad today. It is expected to continue till December 13 in East Rajasthan and till December 10 in Uttarakhand. Cold wave is likely to occur in Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Chandigarh, Western Madhya Pradesh and Western Rajasthan this week.

According to the Meteorological Department, in the next 24 hours, West Bengal, Jharkhand, Sikkim, Bihar, eastern Uttar Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh, Assam and Meghalaya, Nagaland, Heavy fog will occur in Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura.

Heavy rains expected in these states

The IMD predicts heavy rains in remote areas of southern India such as Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Karaikal until December 13. Apart from this, heavy rain is expected to occur in remote areas of coastal Andhra Pradesh, Yanam and Rayalaseema between December 11 and 13. IMD data shows that heavy rainfall is likely to occur in southern interior Karnataka from December 12 to 13 and in Kerala and Mahe from December 12 to 14.

Snow warnings for these states

Let us tell you that Himachal Pradesh received its first snowfall of the season on Monday. Snow is expected to continue to fall in high altitude areas over the next few days.
