Expressed surprise at publication of Delhi Chief Minister’s letter
A day ago on Monday, JPC president and BJP MP Jagdambika Pal said the letter written by the Delhi Chief Minister to me had entered the public domain. I also had some reservations about the letter I presented at the meeting. Hamal We will have a meeting with the Delhi Waqf Board. The JPC’s job is to engage in dialogue with key stakeholders. We have daily meetings with the state religious endowment committee and other stakeholders.
The Chairman said – We try to keep discussions confidential
He further said that we try to keep what is discussed in the JPC confidential, but if someone sends me a letter and someone leaks it, then we have no problem with that because that is not part of the process.
Meanwhile, TMC MP Kalyan Banerjee’s Jagdambika Pal said that we are holding JPC meetings continuously. As chairman, I patiently held the meeting for about 8 hours, giving every member a chance. I hope this meeting is a great success and that Kalyan Banerjee can attend.
In fact, the chairman had suspended TMC leader Kalyan Banerjee for a day after the uproar at the JPC meeting last week. After a one-day hiatus, Kalyan Banerjee started attending meetings again.
