The country’s largest carmaker Maruti Suzuki today updated its car portfolio with the launch of the new Waltz edition of the famous hatchback WagonR. The company has given some cosmetic updates to the new WagonR Waltz to make it better than the regular model. Equipped with attractive looks and powerful engines, the starting price of this family car has been set at Rs 5.65 lakh (ex-showroom).
How about the new WagonR Waltz:
The company has launched three versions of the WagonR Waltz Edition: LXi, VXi and ZXi. These include an updated chrome front grille, fog lights with chrome trim, wheel arch cladding, side skirts, body side moldings, etc. These new elements help make the car look sportier.
The company has also made some updates to the cabin inside the car. These include new floor mats and seat covers. Apart from this, amenities like a 6.2-inch touchscreen infotainment system, new speakers, security system, and a reverse camera are also available. With the addition of these features, its cabin looks a bit upgraded.
Power and mileage:
The company has launched the WagonR Waltz Edition which is available in 1.2-litre petrol and 1.0-litre petrol engine options. The larger engine also comes with a 5-speed manual and automatic gearbox. Apart from this, the car has also been launched with a CNG version equipped by the company. The company claims a mileage of 25.19 km/l for the petrol model and 33.48 km/l for the CNG model.
Safety features:
The WagonR Waltz has added some new safety features. Like the car now comes with Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), Electronic Stability Control (ESC), and Electronic Brake-force Distribution (EBD). Apart from this, the rest of the features are the same as before. It has dual airbags, rear parking sensors, speed limit alert, etc.
