Vodafone Idea has once again brought a huge shock to millions of users. The telco has reduced the data benefits offered on its cheap recharges. Now users will have less data than before. The company has changed the benefits offered in the Rs 23 plan. In this plan from Vodafone-Idea, users earlier got 1.2GB data per day, which has now been reduced.
Cheap plans reduce data usage
This Rs 23 prepaid data pack from Vodafone-Idea is suitable for users who need urgent data. The company has more such data packages available with higher effectiveness. Vodafone Idea launched this prepaid data pack in November last year. Despite the increase in mobile tariffs in July, the company has not made any changes to this plan. Vodafone Idea has been losing subscribers. The company has not yet been able to launch 5G services due to lack of funds.
Now Vodafone-Idea has not increased the price of this plan but has also reduced the data available on it. Now, users can get only 1GB data in this cheap recharge plan with validity of 1 day. The company has started reducing data usage by 200MB in this plan. However, this won’t have much of an impact on users. If users wish, they can get 1.5GB data for an extra Rs 3, valid for 1 day.
Cheap data packs from Jio and Airtel
Jio and Airtel are offering 10GB high-speed data to their users at a price of Rs. However, the recharge plans of both companies are valid for only 1 hour. The telco’s small recharges are specially designed for consumers with high mobile data usage. Jio launched its cheap recharge plans yesterday, November 3.
