While previous signs hinted at the launch of two models: Vivo X200 and X200 Pro, company officials recently revealed that the Chinese smartphone maker may launch a third device in October. In a post on Chinese social media platform Weibo, Jia Jingdong, vice president of brand and marketing at Vivo, welcomed tennis player Zheng Qingwen as the company’s new brand ambassador. The post itself appears to be made by the alleged Vivo X200 Pro Mini.
In another post, tipster Digital Chat Station (translated from Chinese) suggested that the phone could be a compact version of the Vivo X200 Pro. It’s likely to have similar specs to its larger sibling, including a high-resolution screen, a wireless fast-charging system, a high-density battery and a thin and light design.
According to tipster Experience more, the X200 Pro Mini will also be equipped with Sony’s latest LYT-818 50-megapixel camera sensor. It is said to be a 1/1.28-inch sensor manufactured using a 22nm process, with wider dynamic range, higher signal-to-noise ratio and lower power consumption. It is speculated that the Vivo X200 Pro will also use the same sensor. The phone is also expected to use Sony IMX882 periscope telephoto lens and V3/V3+ imaging chip.

According to reports, the Vivo X200 Pro comes with a 1.5K 8T LTPO deep micro-quad curved display. In terms of optics, it is likely to feature a triple rear camera setup including a 50-megapixel primary camera, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 200-megapixel periscope telephoto camera.
It is said that the phone may come with a 6,000mAh battery and may have IP68 or IP69 water and dust resistance.
