December 13, 2024: Vishnu Manoj opens up about family feud between Mohan Babu and Manoj Manoj
The ongoing feud between veteran Telugu actor Mohan Babu and his younger son Manchu Manoj has attracted a lot of public attention. Mohan Babu’s eldest son Vishnu Manchu recently returned from Los Angeles and addressed the situation at a press conference, revealing the quarrel that divided their family.

The controversy escalated earlier this week when Mohan Babu accused Manoj and his wife Bhuma Mounika of trying to seize his properties. The allegations led to a public confrontation at Mohan Babu’s residence in Jhapalli, Hyderabad. There were reports that Manoj tried to force his way into the house, leading to a physical altercation between Mohan Babu and a video journalist who was present.

Speaking about the incident, Vishnu Manchu defended his father, who is currently hospitalized, saying: “The only mistake my father made was loving us all too much. No family is perfect, but I hope there are Opportunity for resolution. My father did not mean to harm the reporter, but he reacted instinctively when his personal space was violated. It was an unfortunate moment that I was in contact with. “
Vishnu confirmed that he and his father have been summoned by Rachakonda police for investigation. “I’m not even in the country, but I will cooperate out of respect for the authorities,” he said.
When asked about rumors that the conflict stemmed from family disapproval of Manoj’s marriage to Bulma Munika, Vishnu refuted the rumors and said, “It has nothing to do with his marriage. He got married, had I wish him a happy life. My father’s concern is that he doesn’t want Manoj to live in his home. My father has worked hard for everything he has and his wishes deserve to be respected.”
Meanwhile, Mohan Babu’s daughter Lakshmi Manchu shared some cryptic posts on social media amidst the family drama. On Thursday, she tweeted a quote from Roman Emperor Marcus Aurelius on X (formerly Twitter): “What are you afraid of losing when nothing in the world truly belongs to you.” She posted on Instagram Another post read: “I just don’t want to do this anymore and that’s a valid reason to stop anything.”
The clashes began on Monday when Mohan Babu filed a police complaint accusing Manoj and Bulma Munika of assaulting and conspiring to seize his property. Manoj countered with a complaint of his own, alleging physical assault but without naming any family members.
Tensions reached boiling point when chaos erupted at Mohan Babu’s residence on Tuesday. Manoj tried to force his way into the house but was stopped by private security guards stationed inside the house.
As the family grapples with their differences, Vishnu Manchu expressed hope for reconciliation, saying: “I believe there is light at the end of the tunnel. We are a family and families fight. But I hope one day we can come together again ”
