The highly anticipated trailer Vitayan It has finally been released, much to the excitement of fans of Rajinikanth and Amitabh Bachchan.
Directed by TJ Gnanavel and produced by Lyca Productions, the film has an impressive cast including Rana Daggubati, Fahadh Faasil, Manju Warrier, Ritika Singh and Dushara Vijayan. The film is Rajinikanth’s 170th film and also marks the debut of Amitabh Bachchan in the Tamil film industry.
Lyca Productions shared the trailer on social media with the caption: “The hunt begins!” The film is set to release globally on October 10, 2024 in multiple languages including Tamil, Telugu, Hindi and Kannada.
The trailer opens with a shocking scene of a crowd protesting against a brutal crime involving the rape and murder of a woman. Rajinikanth’s police character advocates extrajudicial killings and boldly states, “When injustice occurs, there is nothing wrong for police officers to take the law into their own hands.” In contrast, Amitabh Bachchan ( Amitabh Bachchan’s Sathyadev offers a cautious perspective, highlighting the risks of such behavior, “Justice delayed is justice denied; justice denied; justice denied.” Justice is rushed and justice is buried. ” Thus, the film establishes a strong ideological conflict between the two characters.
Apart from these two legends, Fahad Faasil and Rana Daggubati also play important roles. The trailer hints at a gripping, action-packed narrative surrounding the moral complexities of law enforcement. Anirudh Ravichander, the film’s music composer, has lent his signature flair to the background score.
