“Very scary”: The Trump administration sent wrong email, which was asked to leave Ukrainian

As part of a human program, several Ukrainians legally received an email in the United States as a weeks that their situation was canceled and they had seven days to leave the country or “the federal government will get you.”

A department of the Homeland Security Spokesperson said on Friday that the email was sent to an error and the Ukrainian parole program created after the Russian invasion of the country was not terminated. It was not clear how many Ukrainians received emails.

Reuters stated last month that the Trump administration was planning to cancel the temporary legal status for some 240,000 Ukrainians that fled from the conflict with Russia. Such a step will be a reversal of Ukrainian’s welcome to the President Joe Biden’s administration.

“If you do not immediately leave the United States, you will be subject to potential law enforcement actions, resulting in your expulsion from the United States.” “Again, DHS is eliminating your parole. Do not try to live in the United States.”

The Homeland Security Department on Friday sent a follow -up note, informing them that the order was accidentally and “your parole terms as originally released, remaining unchanged at this time.”

A Ukrainian parole, who asked that her name was not used from the US government for fears of vengeance, said that she could not normally breathe and cry uncontrollably “when she received an email.

The woman said that she had renewed her immigration situation last August and said that it was valid for a one and two years, and she tried to find out her brain to find out what she had done wrong to boot from America, she could think without any reason, “I do not have much as a parking ticket, do not post on social media.”

Anjella Bolens, president of a non-profit IA Nice, who sponsored dozens of Ukrainians in Iowa, said she knows at least two women who have received letters, one of whom is pregnant.

“This is a very scary email. All my families are completely nervous,” said Bolens. “I am telling people that they will have time after a cancellation notice. But this letter is very different.”
