People who set out to visit their brothers and sisters to celebrate the festival of Raksha Bandhan had to face hours-long traffic jams on the roads of NCR. People had to face long jams on the routes from Noida to Delhi. There were long queues of thousands of vehicles and buses.
Despite the alertness of the traffic police, the jam did not reduce. Everyone wanted to reach their brother and sister’s house on time to celebrate the festival of Raksha Bandhan. Due to this, people are stuck in traffic jams at the same time and the roads are overloaded with traffic. Due to the large number of vehicles there was no impact on the traffic jam. People had to face long traffic jams till late evening. A huge crowd of vehicles was seen at 14 A Chilla border connecting Noida to Delhi. Vehicles were seen crawling on the roads.
There was a 5 kilometer long traffic jam at Kalindi Kunj.
There was a jam of about 5 kilometers long at Kalindikunj border. Heavy pressure of vehicles was also seen on DND. People who were returning home after getting Rakhi tied or tied were also stuck in this jam. The traffic police remained busy in clearing the jam till late evening.
