Nana Patekar, one of the most influential actors in Hindi cinema, appeared in a popular Bollywood film after a long time. Director Anil Sharma, who has made films like “Gadar”, “Apne” and “Gadar 2”, is now working on a film titled “Vanvas” with Nana.

The recent announcement of the film came as a surprise. Now the trailer of Vanvas has been released and it looks like it’s going to be an emotional family drama. The role of Nana’s son is played by Utkarsh Sharma, son of director Anil Sharma who was seen in last year’s Ghadar 2.

‘Vanvas’ trailer is full of emotion
The film’s trailer begins with a look back at Anil Sharma’s previous films. Perhaps this is to instill confidence in the audience in the new story. After this, the character of Nana Patekar is introduced, who celebrates festivals in the ghats and hill stations of Banaras.

His character is narrating dialogues from the Padma Purana – “Pita Dharmah Pita Swargah Pita Hi Param Tapah”. This means that the father is religion, the father is heaven, and the father is the best confession. When the Father is happy, all the gods come and become happy. In one scene of the trailer, Nana is seen wandering around in a suit and boots, while in another scene, a group gathers at his home and he is pictured wearing a garland. It was as if this was an atmosphere of prayer reserved for him after his death.

Maybe there is a story in the movie: after Nana left home, his son deceived him, or tried to deceive him. In the trailer, Sonu Nigam has lent his voice to a very cute and touching song with the lyrics “Kaisa ye duniya hai, kaisa ye sansar…Apne hi dete hain apno ko vanvas”. At the end of the trailer, Nana tells her son, “My father gave me his whole life.” He was just one and a half months old when he was born. Would you throw it in the trash at that moment?
