The Vande Bharat Express going from New Delhi to Varanasi stopped due to a technical fault near Etawah on Monday morning. Passengers became restless due to a technical fault in the engine of the Vande Bharat Express. Then the technical team reached there and tried to fix it. But when they did not succeed, the train was pulled by the engine of a goods train and stopped at Bharthana railway station.

Passengers started creating ruckus at Bharthana railway station. Railway administration made all the passengers sit in Shatabdi Express and Vande Bharat Express going to Ayodhya. After that all the passengers going to Banaras will be taken to Banaras by Shram Shakti Express.

Prayagraj Railway Division Public Relations Officer Amit Kumar Singh said that 730 passengers were travelling in the Varanasi Vande Bharat Express. All of them will be taken to Kanpur by Shatabdi and Ayodhya Vande Bharat and then they will be taken to Banaras by Shram Shakti Express.

The public relations officer said that after crossing Etawah, the Vande Bharat Express from New Delhi to Varanasi stopped in front of the Bharthana railway station at around 9:15 am due to some technical problem in the engine.

Hundreds of passengers were troubled.

However, the engineers tried to repair the engine but did not succeed, so it has been parked at Bharthana railway station with the help of another engine. Technical teams are working. Passengers are being transported safely.
