Uttarakhand cabinet minister Rekha Arya has filed a case in Bareilly, UP. She has alleged that Bareilly resident Kalpana Mishra alias Kalpana Chaturvedi and Dr RC Pandey are misusing her and her husband Girdhari Lal Sahu’s name and position.
The cabinet minister has alleged that the accused are extorting money through fraudulent means and are dominating the public. They have installed Uttarakhand government’s board, hooter, red and blue lights on their Creta car so that they can extort illegal money by intimidating people. Not only this, he has also accused the accused of theft. He has alleged that Kalpana Mishra and RC Pandey have stolen his seven lakh rupees and a gold-studded Rudraksha rosary. The minister of the neighbouring state has demanded strict action against both the accused from the police.
Bareilly police filed a case
Women and Child Development Minister Rekha Arya in the Pushkar Dhami government of Uttarakhand has lodged a case against both the accused in Baradari police station of Bareilly. After the complaint of the cabinet minister, the police have registered a case under sections 318 (4), 338, 336 (3), 340 (2) and 305 of the BNS and have started investigating the matter. At the same time, the minister said that she wants strict action against the accused so that no one can misuse her name and position in future.
