This time many new steps will be taken regarding cleanliness in the world’s largest religious gathering (fair). The Yogi government, which is busy preparing for Mahakumbh 2025 in Prayagraj, will not only build 1.50 lakh toilets at the fair site, but sanitation workers will work day and night. A temporary colony will also be built for them to live. Instructions have been given to meet the standards of cleanliness.

Apart from being grand and divine, Mahakumbh 2025 will also meet the standards of cleanliness. Many important steps will be taken for this. The Chief Minister gave instructions for this after reviewing the preparations.

1.50 lakh toilets for clean Mahakumbh

1 lakh 50 thousand temporary toilets will be constructed at the Mahakumbh site. More than 10,000 sanitation workers will take up the responsibility of cleanliness during the Mahakumbh so that the devotees can take a dip of faith in the Sangam and also follow their religious beliefs in a clean environment.

Arrangements will be made in Mahakumbh to ensure ‘Safe Kumbh and Clean Kumbh’. Suction vehicles will be installed for sanitation and the sanitation vehicles will also be monitored through GPS.

Kumbh venue will remain clean, these will be special arrangements

More than 300 suction carts and jet spray cleaning systems will be used to provide better facilities to the visitors to Mahakumbh. Service level will be monitored through QR codes for cleaning toilets.

More than 25 thousand dustbins containing liner bags will be placed at the Kumbh Mela site which will be filled every day. Will be changed three times. To keep the Kumbh city clean, 120 tipper-hoppers and 40 compactor trucks will be deployed. These vehicles will be monitored through GPS.

More than 10 thousand sanitation workers will be deployed

10 thousand 200 personnel will be deployed during Mahakumbh. These employees will work day and night in 850 groups. To provide facilities to the sanitation workers, the government will also construct a sanitation colony for all the sanitation workers. Daily wages of sanitation workers will be transferred directly to their bank accounts.
