The SP chief said that this is an old trick of the BJP. He also took a dig at the BJP and said, “If we delay, we will lose worse.”
Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav said the BJP has never been so weak. First the by-elections to Mirkipur in Ayodhya were postponed and now the dates for the by-elections for the remaining seats have been changed. In fact, the Election Commission has changed the polling dates at the behest of the Congress, Janata Dal and Janata Dal and many other political parties.
“As soon as the People’s Party got wind of it…”

He wrote that the fact is that due to massive unemployment in Uttar Pradesh, people traveling to various parts of the country for work come to Uttar Pradesh after the Diwali and Chas holidays. We will vote to defeat the BJP in the by-elections.
If you delay any longer, you will lose even more!

He further wrote, “As soon as the BJP came to know about this, it postponed the by-election so that people’s leave was over and they could go back without voting.” This is an old trick of the BJP. If we lose, we avoid it. “First with the postponement of Mirkipur by-elections and now with the dates for by-elections in the remaining seats, the BJP has never been weaker,” the Socialist Party chief wrote.
Seat changes in Uttar Pradesh, Kerala and Punjab
In fact, the Election Commission has changed the dates for by-elections in many seats in Uttar Pradesh, Kerala and Punjab. The vote will now be held here on November 20, rather than November 13 as previously proposed. However, the Election Commission took this decision at the behest of political parties.
