US Grounds Helicopter Tour Company after a deadly accident to kill Siemens CEO

Washington:

US regulators issued an emergency order based on the helicopter tour company behind the deadly accident in New York on Monday.

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) took action after knowing the company’s operating head – who voluntarily agreed to stop the flights on Sunday – they were fired, acting administrator Chris Rocello said in a statement.

A Spanish business executive, his wife and three children died of pilot when a helicopter operated by New York helicopter tourism took a defect and dip in the Hudson River on Thursday.

The family was on a tourism flight on Manhattan, described by the operator as “a trip to the last sightseeing of New York City”.

According to the FAA order, the head of operations in the New York helicopter was fired on Sunday after the agency agreed on Sunday after the accident was investigated.

Michael Roth, Chief Executive Officer of New York Helicopter, informed the FAA in an email that he did not authorize a struggle to operate and the person agreeing to do so was no longer with the company, according to the FAA.

The FAA said in its emergency order, “The immediate firing of the director of the operation increases serious safety concerns.”

If the New York helicopter does not surrender its air-career certificate immediately, it will be hit with legal action, including a civilian fine, until it complies, $ 17,062 per day, FAA told Roth in a letter.

The Civil Aviation Authority already announced a review of the license and security records of the helicopter tour operator.

The National Transport Safety Board is investigating the cause of the accident.

Officials of Jersey City said that working principles include a drone collision, a bird strike or mechanical failure.

The video of the incident has emerged clearly showing the torso to separate from the rotor.

The accident has highlighted another light on US aviation security, which claims to claim 67 lives in January, including a military helicopter and a passenger jet in Washington, after a string of deadly accidents.

A light aircraft also crashed after leaving the Boka Ratton Airport in Florida on Friday, reporting that three people were killed after developing a mechanical issue of the aircraft.
