After the death of three UPSC candidates in a renowned coaching institute, students have opened a front against the responsible agencies including MCD, Delhi Government, Delhi Fire Service. When candles are lit in the evening in the area, there is a gathering of students outside the Rajendra Nagar coaching center from morning till afternoon. To sharpen their fight, students have formed various groups on social media and more than 5000 members have joined each.

Groups have been formed on WhatsApp and Telegram in the name of UPSC students Union, United UPSC students, ORN protest volunteers, which are the biggest weapon in the fight. ORN protest volunteer Himanshu is a student of Vajirao but after the incident, he sat at the protest site and is demanding a compensation of Rs 5 crore for the families of the victim children. Rajat, a candidate preparing for UPSC, says that most of the students have joined the WhatsApp group and will remain on strike until their demands are met.

UPPCS, BPSC, UPSC main exam, RBI Grade B, UPSC (CAPF) etc. exams are to come in the next month but the students are facing double blow. Whatever may be the fear of any protest or action, but due to the vigilance of the agencies, most of the coaching institutes are closed in Rajendra Nagar area.

Saurabh, a student from Lucknow, says that to get a flat on rent, he has to pay a huge amount of brokerage and advance and when the lights go off, it feels like there is a lack of oxygen.
