UPSC interview: Engineering services personality test schedule released, note the date, travel for free

UPSC interview schedule is out: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the interview schedule for the Engineering Services Examination 2024. Candidates who have qualified for the UPSC ESE 2024 Mains examination will be able to appear for the interview. Candidates can check the interview or personality test schedule (UPSC Interview Date) by visiting the official UPSC website upsc.gov.in.

UPSC interview to begin on October 7
Candidates who have qualified for the Engineering Services (Main) Examination will appear for interview. A total of 617 candidates will appear for the personality test. As per the schedule, the personality test will be conducted on October 7, 8, 9, 10, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25 and November 4, 5, 6, 2024. The interview will be conducted in two shifts. The first shift will be from 9 am to 1 pm throughout the day.

Electronic summons will be issued soon
The electronic summons letter for the personality test (interview) will be available soon. Candidates can download it from the Commission’s website. Any request to change the date and time of the personality test (interview) communicated to the candidate will not normally be considered.

Candidates will be given train tickets
The candidates who appear for the interview will be provided with a round trip fare for attending the interview, which will be 2nd class/sleeper train fare only (Postal Express). The list includes the names and names of 81 candidates. UPSC said that it has recommended 81 candidates based on the request made by the Department of Telecommunications, Ministry of Communications.

UPSC CSE will go online from September 20 and issue admit cards
UPSC has also released the admit card for the Civil Services Mains exam on its official website. The link to download the admit card will be valid till September 29, 2024. The mains exam will be held from September 20 to 29. A total of 14,627 candidates have qualified the UPSC CSE Prelims exam. A total of 1,056 vacancies are being recruited in this recruitment, of which 40 posts are reserved for persons with benchmark disabilities (PwBD).
