UP: Two members of solver gang involved in police recruitment exam arrested, STF caught them red handed

The Prayagraj team of UP STF has achieved a major success in Pratapgarh district of Uttar Pradesh. Two accused who cheated the candidates in the name of solving the paper in the police recruitment examination have been arrested. The arrested accused have been identified as Shubham Sonkar and Pawan Pal. The STF has caught them from Manikpur area of ​​Pratapgarh. The kingpin of the gang is said to be a clerk of the board office in Prayagraj, who is absconding after taking money from the candidates, the police is trying to catch him.

Shubham Sonkar’s father is employed as a Diwan in Fatehpur district and he is a resident of Mundera area of ​​Prayagraj. Currently, he was living at his maternal grandfather’s house in Mirgarhwa, Manikpur police station area of ​​Pratapgarh. The second accused Pawan Pal is a resident of Kamasin village of Jaunpur. Both of them had hatched a plan to cheat the candidates of the police recruitment exam in the name of solving the exam paper.

Two solvers related to police recruitment exam arrested

The STF team arrested both the accused red handed on the basis of information provided by the informer. The police recovered many important documents and admit cards of the candidates from them. Currently, the STF and police team are investigating the matter.

During interrogation of Shubham Sonkar, it was revealed that Arun Singh, a resident of Soraon Sarasatpur, Prayagraj, who was present on the spot, fled after taking money from the candidates. On his information, the STF arrested Pawan Pal, a resident of Kamasin Kasarwa Mirganj, Jaunpur, from Lucknow.

Gang members used to demand Rs 14 lakh from the candidates

Seven admit cards, documents and mobile phones of candidates were recovered from him. The arrested gang used to deceive the candidates. The accused used to assure the candidates that their paper will be solved by an expert and hence they are sure to get a job. In return, the gang members used to demand Rs 14 lakh from the people. Manikpur SHO Deep Narayan told on phone that no criminal record of the two arrested accused has been found so far, but strict action is being taken against them, the police is fully alert.
