UP: Two children, including mother, die from snake bites, family members in disarray

A 29-year-old woman and her two children died due to snake bites in Hapur, Uttar Pradesh. After receiving the news, the police rushed to the scene, seized the body and sent it for autopsy. Officials have assured financial assistance to the family. At the same time, the incident caused an uproar among the relatives of the deceased, who were in terrible condition and burst into tears.

A 29-year-old woman and her two children died due to snake bites in Sadarpur village of Hapur, a police officer said on Monday, the news agency reported. He said the deceased have been identified as Poonam (29) and her two children Sakshi (11) and Tanishk (10).

According to family members, the incident took place on the night of October 20 (Sunday) in Sardarpur village in Bahadurgarh district. Around midnight, while the victims were sleeping, a snake entered the house and bit them. Hearing his screams, locals gathered and rushed him to hospital, where he died, officials said.

Families guaranteed financial aid

At the same time, the incident caused an uproar among the relatives of the deceased, who were in terrible condition and burst into tears. After receiving information about the incident, Upazila District Magistrate Sakshi Sharma and District Officer Varun Mishra reached the spot and inspected the spot. He has pledged financial assistance to the family.
