UP: Truck, pickup collide in Farrukhabad, 2 killed, 14 hospitalized

Two people were killed in a tragic road accident on the Etah-Bareilly highway in Farrukhabad in Uttar Pradesh on Saturday night. The accident also injured 14 people. According to police, the accident occurred when the pickup truck was traveling from Mathura to Farrukhabad.

At that point, a speeding truck came from behind and hit the pickup truck hard, the news agency reported. The accident was serious and 14 people in the car were injured.

Om Prakash Gupta, 50, and an unidentified driver died while undergoing treatment in hospital. The remaining injured are said to be in stable condition. Sources said that after receiving information about the incident, the police immediately rushed to the scene and sent the injured to the hospital.
