In Mainpuri, Uttar Pradesh, a B.Sc. student committed suicide by hanging herself. It is being told that a boy from a different community used to molest the student. He also threatened to make her obscene video viral. It is alleged that the boy changed his religion and befriended the girl and then he was pressurizing her to convert. If the girl refused, he would threaten to pour acid and burn her.

The police have registered a case on the body of the deceased’s father, started investigation and arrested the accused. The girl’s father supports the family by working as a driver in Delhi and his daughter was a B.Sc student in the village. The mother of the deceased told that accused Wasif Ansari used to pressurize her daughter to leave Hinduism and accept Islam.

If she refused, he would threaten to pour acid on the girl’s face. Besides, the accused also used to blackmail her by claiming to have some obscene video of her daughter. Wasif Ansari had also put pressure on many daughters to change their religion and get married. Superintendent of Police said on this incident that a case has been registered against Wasif Ansari and he has been arrested. Police is investigating this matter and taking other necessary action.
