UP: Police teams to get Rs 10,000 reward for busting illegal arms manufacturing factories

In Uttar Pradesh’s Mahoba district, police busted an illegal arms factory operating outside a village. The operation was carried out by a joint team of SOG, Surveillance and Charkhari Kotwali police. Police have arrested four accused and one member of the gang fled the scene. Police seized a large amount of weapons manufacturing equipment, including six finished pistols and one semi-finished pistol. Apart from this, a number of cartridges were also found.

After receiving information about the raid, Superintendent of Police (SP) Palash Bansal activated teams and formed three different teams. The teams surrounded an illegal weapons manufacturing factory outside the village of Bapresa. During the police siege, the vicious defendants tried to escape but police captured four defendants.

Illegal arms manufacturing factory dismantled

Among the arrested accused are Babu Kushwaha, Raju Lohar, Ajit Rajput and Bahiya Lal Ku The name of Bhaiya Lal Kushwaha was exposed and one of the accused named Shyam Soni fled the scene. According to the police, these defendants all have criminal records.

The police filed a case and started investigation

SP Palash Bansal announced an award of Rs 10,000 to the police team in recognition of its huge success. He said this police action will greatly curb illegal weapons manufacturing and smuggling activities in the area. The police are currently pursuing the fugitive suspect and are expected to capture him soon.
