The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRPB) will announce the results of the Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment Examination 2024 anytime today. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath recently directed UPPBPB officials to expedite the results and declare them before the end of October. When the results are announced on the occasion of Dhanteras or Diwali, there is a high chance that a beautiful gift will be given to the candidates.
The recruitment, aimed at filling 60,244 police posts in 67 districts of the state, was conducted in 10 shifts at 1,174 examination centers in the massive exercise lasting five days.
How to check the results?
Step 1: Candidates must visit the official website uppbpb.gov.in.
Step 2: Click on the highlighted results link visible on the home page.
Step 3: Search for the “Police Officer Results” link and click on it.
Step 4: Candidates must fill in their login details.
Step 5: The results will be displayed on the screen and can be downloaded.
After the results of the written test are out, the selected candidates will be conducted a Physical Measurement Test (PMT) and a Physical Fitness Test (PET). Let us know which parameters are fixed for physical testing.
- The minimum height for male candidates is 168 cm, and the chest circumference is 79 cm when not expanded and 84 cm when expanded.
- Males in the SC group were 160 cm tall, with chest circumferences of 77 cm before expansion and 82 cm after expansion.
- The minimum height of a female candidate should be 152 cm while this measurement is fixed at 147 cm for ST category women.
What to do after the physical examination?
After the medical examination, the candidates have to verify all their documents like academic certificate, age certificate, caste certificate, etc. After document review, the final selected candidates will be sent to the Police Training Academy where they will receive the training required for the position.
